Jollan perustajajäsen Marc Dillon jättää yrityksen

Jolla kertoi tänään Twitterissä, että yhtiön yksi perustajista, Marc Dillon jättää yhtiön. Syytä tai ajankohtaa ei kerrottu. Jolla toivottaa Tweetissään myös onnea Marcille uusiin haasteisiin.

Jollan Yhteisövastaava Carol Chen kommentoi Marc Dillonin lähtöä seuraavasti together.jolla.com foorumilla:

We are sad to see Marc leave (at least I personally am). However, that’s not the end of the world. It certainly is not the end of Jolla. We have many strong leaders in the company, maybe they’re not as visible as Marc was, but nevertheless just as important in guiding our ship where it needs to go.
In addition, as some have mentioned, the rhythm in a startup is quite dynamic. We have had many more people joining us than leaving us. Perhaps it’s just the timing of some of the leavers recently (some deemed more newsworthy than others). I should probably mention that we recently also have Antti Öhrling joining us as the new COO, who is carrying on the great work done by Marc and others.
Lastly, Marc has not stopped believing in Jolla and Sailfish OS. At least he reassured us sailors. And I trust him on that.
