Microsoft on viimeisien vuosien aikana kokeillut kaikenlaista, epäonnistunut ja jälleen kerran onnistunut. Tässä välissä Microsoft kerkesi kokeilemaan onneaan muun muassa älypuhelinvalmistajana, mutta jo ennen tätä Microsoftin tiedettiin kehittelevän mysteeristä älykelloa, jota ei kuitenkaan koskaan saatu julkisuudessa nähdä.

Tällä kertaa jaettavaksi on kaksi kuvaa, joissa väitetään esiintyvän jo kuopattu Microsoftin kehittelemä ”Xbox Watch”. Kuvista voidaan nähdä selvästi, että kyseessä on juurikin Xbox-tuotekategorian alle suunniteltu laite. Ensimmäisen kerran Microsoftin kehittelemästä älykellosta huhuttiin vuonna 2013 ja julkaisua povattiin vielä vuonna 2015, mutta tätä ei kuitenkaan koskaan tapahtunut.

Xbox-älykelloon huhuttiin aikoinaan 1,5 tuuman kosketusnäyttöä sekä vaihdettavia rannekkeita. Lisäksi kellossa piti olla Surface-tableteista tuttu magneettiliitin, jota kautta laitetta olisi ladattu sekä siirretty tietoja. Uusien kuvien kerrotaan esittelevän älykellon varhaista prototyyppiä. Kuvia voidaan pitää aitoina, mutta ne eivät kuitenkaan todennäköisesti esittele suunniteltua lopullista tuotetta.
